Anxiety care, shaped around you
Worry can follow you through a crowded subway platform, a long Long Island commute, a hybrid workday, or a quiet upstate evening. I offer online anxiety evaluation and treatment for teens and adults across New York, with a compassionate plan for the symptoms and circumstances that make anxiety personal.

Name the alarm
Anxiety can be persistent worry, muscle tension, poor sleep, irritability, nausea, racing thoughts, or physical sensations that feel frightening in their own right. Generalized anxiety may spread across health, work, family, and finances. Panic can arrive in a rush. Social anxiety can make meetings, classes, dating, or a crowded room feel like a threat rather than an ordinary part of life.
New York offers many different settings for that alarm. A five-borough commute may mean navigating crowds and delays while already activated. Long Island travel can consume the margin between responsibilities. Upstate or North Country residents may experience a different mix of isolation and limited local access. A hybrid schedule can also make it hard to tell when the workday ends and worry begins.
I will ask how anxiety affects your body, decisions, avoidance, attention, relationships, and sleep. Symptoms may overlap with depression, ADHD, trauma, medication effects, or physical health concerns. Understanding those connections helps us choose a more useful next step.
A conversation, not a performance
An online psychiatric evaluation explores when symptoms began, what triggers them, how long they last, and the strategies you use to get through. We can talk about generalized anxiety, panic, social anxiety, specific fears, health worries, sleep, substances, physical health, previous treatment, and the changes you hope to make. The aim is a nuanced understanding, not a single label for every feeling.
Telehealth may be particularly helpful when reaching an office adds a subway ride, a bridge or parkway drive, or a long trip from a rural county. Join from a private New York location with a reliable connection. A short record of panic symptoms or a medication list may help, but your lived account is enough to start.
I will explain what I am noticing and invite your questions. If anxiety needs another kind of evaluation or support, we can name that together. You can take this process one piece at a time.
From surviving to choosing
Treatment can include medication management, supportive therapy, or both. When medication is clinically appropriate, we will weigh your history, health, preferences, and goals while watching for changes in symptoms and side effects. Follow-up is where we learn whether the plan is supporting your life rather than asking you to tolerate a new burden.
Supportive therapy can make the anxiety cycle easier to see: the thought, the body response, the urge to avoid, and the brief relief that reinforces the fear. We can explore ways to create more choice, communicate needs, recover after a panic episode, and establish a routine that works in a city apartment, a Long Island household, or an upstate home.

Care where the day already is
Online care can spare you another complicated trip through the five boroughs or across Long Island, and it can reduce the access gap created by long distances upstate. Choose a quiet, private place in New York and give yourself a little time before and after the appointment. You do not need to make the visit look polished.
In follow-up, we can look at what changes in sleep, physical symptoms, avoidance, concentration, and participation. Feeling anxious sometimes is part of being human; the goal may be more freedom to make decisions without every alarm taking over.
I provide scheduled telehealth psychiatric care when you are physically in New York. If you are in immediate danger, call 911 or call or text 988. This practice is not an emergency service.
