Anxiety can make an ordinary day feel like a series of alarms. I offer online anxiety evaluation and treatment for teens and adults in Connecticut, creating room to understand worry, panic, physical symptoms, and the pressures that follow you from Fairfield County to New Haven and Hartford.

Notice what your body is saying

Anxiety is more than worry

Anxiety can show up as persistent worry, a racing heart, tight muscles, nausea, poor sleep, irritability, or the feeling that you must stay prepared for something to go wrong. Generalized anxiety may follow you through many parts of the day. Panic can arrive suddenly with intense physical sensations. Social anxiety may make meetings, classrooms, gatherings, or even a video call feel unusually exposed.

Connecticut life can add its own layers. A commute on I-95 or the Merritt Parkway may leave little margin when you already feel on edge. A busy role in Stamford, a college schedule in New Haven, or responsibilities in Hartford can keep the nervous system in “next thing” mode long after the workday ends. The context matters, but your distress is not a personal failure.

I will listen for how symptoms affect your choices, relationships, concentration, sleep, and sense of safety. Anxiety can overlap with depression, ADHD, trauma, medical conditions, or medication effects, so understanding the whole picture is an important first step.

  • Worry that feels difficult to control or turn down
  • Avoiding places, conversations, or responsibilities because of fear
  • Panic sensations that make you fear losing control or having a medical crisis
  • Tension, restlessness, fatigue, or disrupted sleep

Curious, careful assessment

Finding the shape of your anxiety

An online psychiatric evaluation gives us time to understand when anxiety began, what brings it on, how long it lasts, and what you do to cope. We can talk about generalized anxiety, panic symptoms, social anxiety, specific fears, health concerns, sleep, substances, physical health, and stressful changes. I also want to hear what is going well and what you hope to regain.

Telehealth can be a calm starting point when a trip through traffic would add more strain. Join from a private Connecticut location with a reliable connection. You may bring a medication list, prior treatment history, or notes about panic episodes and triggers. You can also simply bring the story as you remember it.

There is no requirement to explain everything perfectly. We can slow the conversation down, separate immediate concerns from longer patterns, and decide together whether anxiety treatment, additional evaluation, or coordination with another clinician makes sense.

Support for steadier days

Options for feeling more grounded

Treatment may include medication management, supportive therapy, or both. When medication is clinically appropriate, we will discuss the options in the context of your health, previous experiences, preferences, and the symptoms you most want to change. Follow-up is a chance to notice benefits and burdens rather than simply push through.

Supportive therapy can help you recognize the cycle between a thought, a body sensation, an urge to avoid, and the short-term relief that keeps anxiety going. We can make space for practical experiments, communication, routines, and self-compassion. A plan for a Fairfield County professional may need to account for commuting and constant availability; a plan for a teen may need to account for school, family, and social pressure.

Medication conversations

Review possible benefits, risks, side effects, and follow-up with clear, collaborative decisions.

Supportive therapy

Understand worry and avoidance while practicing ways to respond with more choice.

A personal toolkit

Build realistic supports for sleep, transitions, difficult conversations, and high-pressure days.

A quieter way to arrive

Telehealth around the commute

Online care can remove one more trip from a schedule already shaped by the Merritt Parkway, I-95, or the distance between Fairfield County and Hartford. You can attend from home or another private place in Connecticut, which may make it easier to stay present and talk about symptoms honestly.

Before an appointment, choose a space with enough privacy and time on either side of the visit. For follow-up, we can notice whether worry is affecting sleep, appetite, work, school, relationships, and daily decisions. Progress does not always mean never feeling anxious; it can mean having more room to respond when anxiety arrives.

I provide scheduled care for patients physically located in Connecticut during their appointment. If you are in immediate danger or need urgent support, call 911 or call or text 988. Campbell Telehealth is not an emergency service.
